At the border of  the "Parc naturel régional des Causses du Quercy" At the border of the Parc naturel régional des Causses du Quercy, there is a cluster of caves with quite easy access to their entrance. We have visited this place many times in previous years with friends. Our last trip was not that long ago - in September 2018. Keeping in mind the attractiveness of the region and the longing for a wonderful landscape of nature and pleasant dives, we are going there in September this year!
The biggest undertaking of the trip is the distance - we have to cover about 2'150 km (counting from Gdansk). Of course, it is possible to organize a flight, but it is necessary to rent a car on the spot.
Travel details will be discussed separately among interested persons. We will try to choose a route so that it is not difficult for each participant.

In France, we are accommodated in a very pleasant and original building complex mill in Cajarc near the river "Aveyron Lot" and known to all cave divers cave Emergence du Russel and Landenus.

The house is finished in a stylish French atmosphere. The walls of the building are decorated with a stone façade and the surroundings of the old mill and the riverbed give the atmosphere of the place. The complex has several buildings, we occupy the one prepared for 4 people. On the ground floor there is a living room with a well-equipped kitchenette and a toilet with a shower, and there are rooms on the first floor. We will prepare the meals on our own. We plan to take the main ingredients for preparing meals and arrange for local food stores on spot.
Our dive day will start with the preparation of breakfast and snacks useful between dives. Leaving Cajarc we usually return around late afternoon hours after a minimum of two three dives in the cave. Before returning home, we fill gas in bottles and shop for dinners at nearby grocery stores.
If we manage to finish the dive sooner and we have enough time to explore the area, we will go to Rocamadour, a city located on a ledge. In the Lot region there are many vineyards, small charming towns with very interesting buildings. If we succeed, we will devote a moment to these places :)
September is one of the better periods for diving in the Lot area. Due to the possibility  of small rainfall, caves enjoy good transparency of the water on which we care most.

In the trip there will be people aspiring for the title of a cave diver and people who already have licenses and skills to independently dive in a cave environment.

During the trip it is possible to obtain cave powers Cave Diver.
The cost of the training is  2'500 PLN. One of the requirements to participate in the course is to have minimum Adv Nitrox or Extended Range qualifications and to have your full diving equipment in the technical version. The training consists of 6 days of diving / training in France.
