October - December is a period in which there is a great chance to meet humpback whales and whales. It is difficult to list all the inhabitants of the Galapagos waters. The autumn season is also characterized by a large number of whale sharks, manta, dolphins and other sea creatures appearing there. For those who think that these are empty words, I encourage you to watch the movie from the weekly stay of Darek SepioĊ‚o FILM and a bit less professional from my trip FILM :-)

On safari, we are going on a Humbolt Explorer boat, which is prepared for 16 people. The boat is divided into 4 decks with a sun deck, grill, bar and jacuzzi on the roof. Humbolt Explorer is a boat with a high standard of finishing and preparation for diving. Boat has all the attributes to make the trip pass in a nice and luxurious atmosphere. Starting with warm towels served for frozen divers and ending with a wide menu. There are 2 cabins on the middle deck and 6 on the house deck. Each cabin is equipped with a private bathroom, TV and several cabinets, as well as individual air conditioning.
We start our adventure with a flight to Guayaquil in Ecuador located on the Pacific Ocean. We will be accommodated in Unipark by Oro Verde Hotel, the hotel is right next to Iguan Park. Our stop is a safe place after a long flight and acclimatization in the new time zone, but also a great moment to get to know the highly developed city of Ecuador. The hotel we stay in is located in the very center of the city. The convenient location will ensure that we will always have a lot to explore and actively spend free time. We've been to Guayaquil several times, we'll show you around.

After a day of sightseeing in the city, the next day before noon, we are leaving the hotel and then we are going to the airport on the way to San Cristóbal on the Galapagos.
In San Cristóbal we change to a boat, take our cabins, eat dinner and after a short rest we do one dive to check the equipment and our skills. During a week of sailing, we will visit the most interesting Galapagos diving spots, including the islands of Wolf and Darwin. Darwin and Wolf are the most protruding Galapagos islands that can only be reached by a safari houseboat . They are the iconic dive sites of the world. The trip that we offer you was prepared two years ago! To organize the dive during the best diving season, we had to book the boat with an unusually long advance. We believe that it will be a hit and we will see all the representatives of the sea creatures under water.

October - November is the time when whale sharks, dolphins, manta, hammerheads, tuna sharks and many other mammals and fish are there. Female whale sharks are reportedly arriving at Galapagos to give their offspring to the world. Nobody has seen their birth yet, but scientists strongly believe that something is going on under the surface of the water somewhere. An additional attraction of the island of Darwin are the hammerheads inhabiting that region. Hammer sharks are very shy animals, but with a little self-discipline you can watch them in huge school.

You can describe Galapagos for hours or you can go and see it with your own eyes.
For every diver it is undoubtedly the real "icing on the cake" of the diving sites of the world.
Diving on the Galapagos is a bit more demanding, so you must have a minimum of AOWD with Nitorx permissions to participate in the trip.
There may or may not be sea currents. Usually, they are tidal. They swing to the left and right near the surface and calm down a bit more deeply. There may also be stronger ones, but when they appear, dives are organized in the direction of sea current - not the opposite . The water temperature in November will be around 25-28 degrees Celsius . Final confirmation of temperatures will be sent to participants a week before departure. Closer to San Cristóbal - the main land of the Galapagos - temperatures may be lower - around 17-20 degrees Celsius . With confirmation for a week (or two weeks)  before we will be better prepared and take the appropriate suit.
During the week of safari, we planned 2 - 4 dives a day depending on the place and route of the cruise. We also included land tours in the tour plan. At the beginning and end of our cruise, we will visit two islands inhabited mainly by birds, seals, galapagos turtles and iguanas.
Below you will find a detailed plan which we will stick to during our cruise. Of course, as it is at sea, it can be changed due to weather conditions.

We say goodbye to those who finish their trip in Ecuador, and those who want to stay with us are invited to visit the area of Quito for about a week.

After an exciting trip to the Galapagos, we will organize the second part of our adventure in the area of Quito. Quito is a beautifully located capital of Ecuador at an altitude of 2850 meters. It's higher than our Polish Rysy. A huge Pichincha volcano dominates the city. Quito is a great city both for a party and for sightseeing. Quito is a great place to organize trips outside the capital. There is a lot to choose from. We will start our trip from visiting the city. There are a lot of attractions worth recommending such as Panecillo, Basilica, San Francisco's main square and  Pululahua's crater. It will be an intense day full of sightseeing and walking along the streets of the city. In Quito, we will stay at the Hotel City Art Silberstein.

The next day we will plan a bit differently, repack our bags and take only what will be useful for the next two days of sightseeing. Early in the morning after breakfast, we are going on a trip to the volcano and the Cotopaxi National Park. The plan of our trip will include hiking and biking tours around the volcano massif. Cotopaxi is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. Its top reaches 5897m above sea level. Rather, we will not go to the top :-) we will focus on parts of its base and viewpoints of the park area. Accommodation in Papagayo Sur Hacienda
Another day, another adventure. This time the BAÑOS area with QUILOTOA crater, wonderful views and hiking. The first stop is the canyon of Cañón del Río Toachi, an amazing viewpoint of the ravaged terrain seen from a fairly high viewpoint. A little bit later, the Saquisilí market and transport in the amazingly located QUILOTOA crater lake. We will go to the crater area on foot or optionally renting donkey :) At the end of the day we are staying at the Hotel  La Florest. The BAÑOS area is an attractive tourist destination, so won't leave this place so fast. Taking advantage of the additional attractions of the place and quite a rushing river, we will go rafting and then to the Pailón del Diablo waterfall. After an extreme experience, we head to our first hotel list in Quito.

The next day, the pace is slightly lower :) We start the day with shopping for gifts on the local market in OTAVALO, then we go on a trip to Condor Park where we get acquainted with the birds living in Ecuador. We will not only watch them in cages! We will also see a very interesting show of their skills on a specially prepared stage for this purpose. On the way back to Quito, we will stop for a few photos at the Peguche waterfall. The next day we finish our journey and we return to Poland

A detailed plan of the second part of the trip to Ecuador is below.

18.11 - landing in Quito, accommodation, city tour
19.11 - checking out, transfer to the Cotopaxi volcano area, walking and cycling tours
20.11 -  trip to the area of Quilotoa crater
21.11 - trip to the area of Banos, raftng, return to Quito
22.11 - trip to the Otovalo region, Condor park and Peguche waterfall
